Full Stack Software Developer

Our client is seeking an experienced Full Stack Software Developer for several programs involving hardware, software, and real-time analytics.Looking for an experienced candidate who is primarily a software programmer comfortable changing programming languages and learning new technologies as needed.

Job Key Responsibilities

  • Working with a small team of other software developers to develop, test, and deploy software for operational use in the field.
  • Software analysis, code analysis, requirements analysis, software review, identification of code metrics, system risk analysis, software reliability analysis.
  • Object-oriented Design and Analysis (OOA and OOD).
  • Software modeling and simulation.
  • Front end graphical user interface design. Software testing and quality assurance.
  • Performance tuning, improvement, balancing, usability, automation.
  •  Supports, maintains and documents software functionality. Integrates software with existing systems. Evaluates and identifies new technologies for implementation.
  • Maintains standards compliance. Implements localization or globalization of software.
  • A strong background in C++, Python, software best practices, and willingness to learn are essential. In addition, strong communication skills and experience working with a team in rapid development cycles is required.

Job Must Haves

  • 5 years of experience in full lifecycle application development – Designing, coding and debugging applications in various software languages.
  • Client/server and peer-to-peer programming over TCP/IP
  • Software documentation (1 year)
  • Backend programming (SQL 1 year)
  • C/C++ Programming (2 years)
  • Development experience on Linux (2 years)
  • Full Stack Development (2 years)
  • GIT/GITHUB (1 year)
  • GPUs (i.e., CUDA Processing (1 year)
  • Java Development (1 year)
  • Object Oriented Software Design and Development (2 years)
  • Very strong Python skills (at least 2 years) Looking for more Python microservices experience as opposed to Python scripts/scripting, as well as more containerization/cloud deployment experience.
  • Hardware & Software integration (1 year)
  • Kubernetes (1 years)  
  • Relational databases (1 year)
