RH Enterprise Linux 7 (RHEL) Principal Consultant

Our client is seeking an experienced RH Enterprise Linux 7 (RHEL) Principal Consultant

Job Must Haves

  • C systems programming including familiarity with Kerberos code
  • Solid knowledge of PERL and Python programming/scripting
  • Kerberos architecture and administration (Ideally MIT, heimdal acceptable)
  • 10+ years on RHEL/Linux. Experience on RHEL 6 or 7 is a must
  • Solid grasp of the restrictions of working in an enterprise environment with rigorous change control
  • Experience of linux/Active Directory integration (good knowledge of sssd)
  • Good understanding of TCP/IP networking and network services
  • Ability to identify issues, replicate and escalate through appropriate channels including interacting with Red Hat support resources
  • Resource must be in the eastern timezone (ET) to support globally distributed team.
  • Must know Kerberos, key distribution center(KDC), RHEL and Red Hat Identity Management (IdM)
  • Must be able to assist with migration from legacy Kerberos implementation to a more supportable Red Hat based solution
  • ‌Able to pass background check + fingerprinting - they can not have ever had any sort of criminal record
  • Experience in a financial institution is a plus
