Workday Technical Lead

Our client is seeking an experienced Workday Technical Lead responsible for all activities related to product functionality and business requirements, including process analysis and configuration, to meet the client objectives. To strengthen focus on its core missions, the agencies made the decision to divest technology services related to HR LOB Shared Services and procure the services of IBM's HR LOB Shared Services Center (SSC). IBM has migrated VA, GSA and GSA's 32 external customers to its HR LOB solution, including both HR and time and attendance (T&A) systems. The solution is built on the Oracle PeopleSoft platform and continues to expand its footprint with new modules and new federal agencies.

Job Key Responsibilities

  • Perform all technical activities to meet the client objectives

Job Must Haves

  • Experience with at least 5 Workday implementations with at least 2 full implementations in a technical leadership position (e.g., technical architect), including for at least 1 customer of comparable size and scope to the client (>400k employees).
  • Experience leading the technical design and implementation for Workday implementations – 3 years .
  • Experience in technical roles related to HCM or ERP system implementations – 5 years .
  • Experience in business requirements analysis – 5 years.
  • Experience managing teams of people – 5 years.
  • Experience managing large complex enterprise system migration projects – 3 years.
  • Active Top Secret clearance

Nice to Haves

  • Capacity and willingness to learn complex business rules and apply them to system processes and support.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
