Job Key Responsibilities
Apply an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify SELinux security policies and custom RHEL configurations and distributions.
Develop, review and administer custom SELinux policies for RHEL 7.x systems.
Build custom policy rules building from the baseline RHEL 7.6 policy.
Scan for programs to include in custom policies for mandatory access controls.
Review software interface designs to design and implement custom mandatory access controls.
Create custom policies for role-based access controls.
Integrate and test policy rules with developmental software.
Coordinate updates and design questions with 3rd-party SELinux policy analysis partner.
Provide consulting services as needed on the following topics:
RHEL system install and patching
RHEL system service scripts and management
RHEL custom builds and RPM management
Custom Anaconda installation
System integrity monitoring
Remote health and status reporting
Agile methods and tracking tools (Atlassian JIRA preferred) Code repositories (Git preferred)
Provide guidance and knowledge transfer to client team
Provide client team with an Engagement Journal at the end of the engagement
Job Must Haves
- Experience with SELinux
- Experience with custom RHEL v.7 installations, custom builds, configurations and distributions
- Experience with custom Anaconda installation
- Experience with Agile methodology
Job Nice to Haves
- RHCE (Red Hat Certified Engineer)
- Active Secret Clearance
