SALES LEADER / VP SALES


We are currently seeking to hire a well-proven VP Sales within our company. This is a contributor/sales leader role within our team..

Requirements
  • Must have successful record of selling IT Professional Services at a high level with a deep understanding of how higher incomes are reached and maintained within an IT professional services business.
  • Must have prior successful experience in building, coaching and leading a high performing IT professional sales team.
  • Must have high “entrepreneurial spirit” to work without supervision and to “take charge” of their area of responsibility.
  • Must demonstrate deep understanding of the important facts, figures and details when preparing sales plans and evaluating sales performance.
  • Must embody a “can do” culture.
  • Willing to travel to support the needs of the business.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher.
Responsibilities
  • Individual contributor with revenue goals.
  • Build pipeline of professional sales persons to hire.
  • Identify, screen, hire, coach and lead sales team.
  • Help determine and maintain sales performance standards across sales team.
  • Manage and oversee revenue grow in all Encode accounts while maintaining highest levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Coach and lead sales team to high level of performance.
  • Build sales plan for outside sales team.
  • Manage and motivate sales team against plan.
  • Prepare reports for management detailing sales strategy, sales growth plan and progress reports.
  • Develop and co-deliver Encode sales presentations as needed.
  • Participate in Encode marketing events.
  • Develop conceptual understanding and conversational level expertise with all the vendor technologies Encode supports.
  • Provide business/technical input for the development of Encode contracts, statements of work and purchase orders.
  • Document all meaningful interactions with prospects, clients and technical subject matter experts in Encodes CRM/ATS.
  • Maintain close working relationship with deployed technical resources on end- client engagements.
  • Maintain close working relationship with direct reports, co-workers and management.
  • Negotiate bill rates with end clients.
  • Troubleshoot any issues with clients or resources.
  • Resolve any disputes with clients and resources.
Skills
  • Sales leadership.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Detail oriented and works with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Highly organized.
  • Ability to multitask and meet challenging deadlines.
  • Must be self-directed and able to complete projects with limited supervision.
